Mechanical design at iQube

Getting into iQube was competitive, and the intake project was deliberately outside my usual territory: product design, design thinking, mechanical components and machine drawing.

I learned Shapr3D for the modelling work — a direct-modelling CAD tool rather than a parametric one, which suits fast iteration on physical parts.

Working on tolerances and manufacturability was a useful counterweight to software, where you can always ship a patch.
